YouTube goes all soft and cuddly........

Currently listening to Floorpunch....

Hmmmm Friday, which means beer and BF2! I am now in the top 100,000 players in BF2, had a damn good game with RtK and =EAF=TomFoster in the EAF server (Karkand). My next goal is to get in the top 10,000 then the top 1000, 100 and ultimately the top 10!

In other news, you may have heard that YouTube are putting in place stricter rules on content, most notably 'profanity' (Awful Americanism) and 'Sexually suggestive' videos. Basically, any video which has 'profanity' or sexual content will be demoted, think about this, this is American Puritanism in action, but hang on one second, let's remember that YouTube LLC is a private company, they aren't a public service, which I think is a fact many people seem to forget, YouTube can restrict or delete videos however it likes, YouTube has become such an important part of our online lives that it seems we have forgot this fact.

<rtk> "01:17 - RTk leaks the lizard!!" /U

So yeah, don't blame YouTube or Americans, YouTube is an American site, but it's also a private business, I say to anyone, if you wish to create a truly 'free' and open video sharing site, then do it, the Pirate Bay equivalent of YouTube might be interesting, although then again it may just be filled with porn and hate, who knows!

Dudes... I have three fucking beers left - yooooooooooooosh!

That BNP list thing...

Friday, 21 Nov 2008 00:20 by Hellwrath
I've been listening to TalkSport quite a bit lately, interesting to hear the callers they get on the late night phone-ins, in particular the BNP supporters, you really can tell that they're not 'all there', anyway, speaking of the BNP, I couldn't resist checking out the leaked membership list which has made the headlines this week, it was somewhat of a surprise to see members from postcodes such as WA15, WA16 and SK9 on the list I must say, also interesting to see a few from my hometown, who interestingly almost all gave their town as Sale, Manchester, despite Sale not actually being in Manchester, I'm guessing those members are not originally from my town or really are that ignorant to not know their own address, although can this only be expected from these Sun-reading, lager-swilling knuckle draggers? That said however, and without wanting to sound like I'm defending the party, it is disturbing to see some of the comments from those on the BNP witch-hunt, you really do have to question the sanity of these extremists who are supposed to support democracy and freedom and tolerance, yet plot violence and harrassment against members of the public just for being members of a political party they happen to disagree with.

Anyway, in other news, I have completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas again in just over a total of 25 hours gameplay time, I'm hoping to get all the spraytags, horseshoes and photos, completing the fire missions really helped me escape the burning drugs factory in the final mission. Google's Gmail service now has some nice new themes for its users to pretty-up their inboxes, I've got a nice 'aqua' bluey sort of theme at the moment, very calming.

Another rant, I was on Facebook before and I now seriously think they should have some kind of mandatory IQ test prior to registration, I came across a group illegally displaying name and address details of three people involved in the on-going 'Baby P' case, accompanied with fanatical calls to hang those responsible, of course it's a tragic case, but we live in a modern, democratic country with laws and a judiciary system, it's not up to vigilante mobs to despatch justice, no matter how heinous the crime perpetrated, I really do wonder what goes on in these people's minds.

Got a bit of heartburn now, might go to bed now, I'm sick of being out of synch, no BF2 tonight sadly, although got a few projects and stuff to work on, good things are ahead for 2009 and beyond!

Hellwrath in need

Saturday, 15 Nov 2008 05:02 by Hellwrath
It's 05:00 as I write this. I have just brushed my teeth and I am ready for bed, no sign of rtk tonight, had a good game in BF2 in uKm before and EAF earlier this evening. I am so near my goal of 30,000 points I can smell it, although I still neeed 50,000 before I can reach my next rank.

By the way, had four 1664s tonight, the normal kind, not the widget sort, anyway, earlier this evening I completed leg #3 of my epic around the world trip in X-Plane. I flew in my trusty King Air B350 from Mont-Joli, Quebec, Canada to Schefferville, Quebec, Canada. I'll tell you, the weather was fucking awful, I'm amazed I got down in one piece, it's damn good to be in the comfort of my hut now, although the locals don't speak much English.... anywaaaaay, my target is to get to Nuuk, Greenland soon, then it will hopefully be plain, or should that be 'plane' sailing to Reykjavik and then onto the Faroe Islands and the UK!

Erm, in other news, well there's not much else to report except that I now have 43 things to be getting on with and that's about it, I'm very lazy at the moment, apart from the X-Plane stuff, I'm doing very little, I hope the other guy sorts me out, anyway, quite drunk here and desperately in need of sleep, bye for now!
